Untitled High School Musical (2004-2005)
2004 - Peter Barsocchini started the screenplay inspired by Romeo and Juliet in a modern high school musical audition. By the end of that year Disney greenlit the first draft, submitted the script to directors and Kenny Ortega was chosen. By the first half of 2005 it started pre production.
High School Musical (2005-2006)
Rehearsals started in July and lasted for two weeks. In a video by Bayli Baker Thompson there’s some dates that can be based on some of the costumes with the scenes. Production took place from August-September.
